Brief
Our valued customer Sally needed a perfect shading solution to accentuate the outdoor space she has created in front of her set of bi-folding doors. As well as shading from her south facing garden, she needed the patio to be illuminated at night for relaxing and entertaining.
The awning needed to be unobtrusive when not being used.
Solution
From a thorough fact find a visit, our salesperson Oliver, advised that the award winning Semiana Life LED model would be the perfect solution for Sally’s needs. Despite its ultra-slim design, the Semina’s cassette is packed with a wealth of technological innovations, such as plush LED patio lighting to create a warm ambience to her outdoor space. The fully retractable cover is fitted with an electronic motor and a high-quality awning arm mechanism for ultimate ease of use.
The almost silent motor located inside the awning cassette has an integrated wind and sun sensor for enhanced functionality.
The challenge Sally had was choosing one of The Terrace Room’s 155 fabric patterns and 56 colours. You can see for the pictures she matched perfectly with the tone and ambience of her garden. After some pondering, the finer details were agreed, and an installation date was set by our Terrace Room Company team.
Installation
The Semina has an advanced two fixing bracket system, perfect for over Sally’s bi-folding doors.
It took all of 4 hours to install, and Sally was so pleased she was kind enough to send us a lovely testimonial and pictures of the awning!
